iRacing Recommendations & Needs / Better Sound
« Last post by Jason Martin Ⓘ on December 17, 2020, 01:52:34 AM »
Some might not know about this one
In Iracing Click on the sounds tab, top left select device as XAudio2 and your speaker or headset.
Then exit iracing and then open it up again.
Go do a lap and be blown away by the new sound

Oh yeah might want to lower the volume also :)

Assetto Corsa Recommendations & Needs / Open Assetto Corsa Server
« Last post by Gavin Chatt on November 10, 2020, 11:07:19 PM »

Hello all and welcome. As the post header states Austeam Racing will have an open server to allow the public to join us on Monday Nights at 8:30pm Sydney time. This is however dependent on our Series Managers.

The Assetto Corsa server will be available 24/7 through the week.

Come race night the server will be reset for 8:30pm start to ensure the schedule is followed.

If you have any questions feel to reply to this post.

Austeam try and keep our racing to content product so members are not looking to have to download (spend) more money to iRacing. However we're looking to get back to our golden times by having two options in ovals being Busch with fixed Setups and Winston for open setups. Please feel free to post question regarding this as we use iRacing mostly for our oval experiences.

The tracks and cars do come out cheap now and again (for example we're moving to open wheelers (Max Pro Vehicle) and this is less than $3 US we have needed to grab a download track but if not keen to do so then just miss that round for example. You can find out more and spec needs through https://www.austeamracing.com.au/forum/index.php?topic=10.0 and I think for new members iRacing were ofering a 1/2 price deal at $55 US dollars. You can also try it for a month I see now but if wanting to know costs head to:-

------------------------------------------------------------------------
All pricing listed in United States Currency. Please note: Prices do not include U.S. sales tax and as of January 2017 prices also do not include VAT. Depending on your taxing jurisdiction indirect taxes like sales tax / VAT /GST / service tax / cess / IGIC at the applicable rate may be added to your purchase. Please feel free to check currency conversion rates before checking out.

Finally, if looking to purchase as a "new" user of iRacing follow the below link as this will also provide you with a 50% discount.
